Fast Fuse said: Heard this on 6 Music for the first time this week - one of those songs that just stops you dead in your tracks... 'Myth' by Beach House http://youtu.be/FuvWc3ToDHgI really like that one. This thread has shown me so many songs that I might never have heard otherwise.

One I can't get out of my head at the moment is 'Carmen' - must be difficult to do live with such range changes but she did a really good job of it live here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzxqOQXBFoII especially like the bit from c.2m45s - and the tone of her voice on the line containing 'favours" at 3.00m. A very intriguing and fresh addition to contemporary music, and v. talented imo, despite all the critics.

Sara - Fleetwood Mac Reminded of this from a programme about the band last night. Its about one of Stevie Nicks friends by all accounts. Stevie was having a relationship with Mick Fleetwood, which they were trying to keep secret from the rest of the band owing to her history with Buckingham. Then she found out Mick was seeing her friend Sara behind her back and this beautiful song was the result. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHJb87nNsGY&fea...Enjoy.

I'm a huge fan, she brings an elegance to her performance that is rare these days, I still think her live act needs work though as she seems unable to replicate Blue Jeans quite as well

Lots of shouts for Kate Bush on this thread.
I saw her live in concert! April 1979 at the Palladium. I got a call about 6pm from a girl I knew, her and her mates were going but one of them had to drop out so there was a spare ticket going. Mine for 75p. I was 16. Managed to cobble together the princely sum and that was that. I was excited about seeing kate Bush, and probably more excited about going out with 5 girls for the evening. I remember it being a fabulous gig. She and the dancers did a great routine with dustbin lids. Bonnie Langford (also about 16) was sat a few seats away.
Little did we know that she would call it a day for touring about a month later. (Kate, not Bonnie).
Anyway, I kind of hope she never changes her mind. It's quite cool being one of the few to have seen her live. But if she does, I'm definitely going. And will probably be prepared to spend more than 75p for the ticket.
