Halb, same as last time you asked, he hasnt been cast but there is some thought he could be a hidden casting on some of the forums. No one has specifically been named. Honestly, Im a bit worried that you are getting obsessed by the guy. Theon can do everything he needs to without Ramseys help, I strongly suspect they wont bother casting him till they need him for the bits in the later seasons. I can imagine a lot of Harry Potter fans are adding tonights episode to their w k banks

Yeha I just checked, seems they are casting now for Tormund, Ramsay, daughter of Stannis and others.

Havent seen Tormund mentioned but my choice would be Brian Blessed. Its how I imagine him to be.
Mance will be an interesting casting, rumour has it that it could be James Purfoy.

Halb said: Has Ramsey been cast or what then? I'm just glad he finally got mentioned, was a bit worried that they were somehow going to miss him out which would have made things 'interesting/quite different' later on. They need to cast a very good actor for this role IMHO.

Enjoyed E6 last night - I'm glad that even having read the books is not spoling it all. If anything, knowing the general plot lines means I can concentrate on individual elements such as the acting and set & costume designs etc...
Very good.

Halb: the real Reek, i should go and relook but cant be assed really
also, the Half Hand/Jon thing, in the books, Jon just let Ygritte go and then caught up with HH. The wildlings then found them via the Hawk (as in bird) and eventually cornered them, upon which HH told Jon to slay him and go with the wildlings and learn about their ways before heading back to the wall. Im guessing theyll just get rid of that bit and HH and co. will be ambushed, with Ygritte taking Jon back with her

Best suggestion Ive seen for Ramsey is the guy who was in the BBC drama thing about vampires but I forgot his name. He is really pasty looking, hence the vampire role etc. Looked pretty much spot on.
To be honest I cant think of a character who has really been miscast yet. I was a bit annoyed they changed The Mountain. I like the fact that Ayra is interacting directly with Tywin Lannister.
On this subject I wasnt sure if Baelish realised it was Ayra or not, I think it was but I might be reading too much into it? I thought he emphasised the bit about daughters a bit too much?

Could go either way - it could be that he thought she looked familiar and it was bugging him where from or that he did recognise her and was wanting to work out how best to play it given his love interest later on...

Just watched it again, absolutely loved Ygritte.
Some of the casting in this is inspired.

I kind of had that Prince of Persia dude as Mance in my head when reading the books. The Halfhand I envisioned as bit of a Liam Neeson type.
You know nothing Jon Snow...deserves to go down as one of the greatest lines ever written in the English language. Its placement, pathos, context, wit, insight and haunting tragic connotations are as perfect within the story as any of the great lines in Chaucer, Shakespeare, Marlow or Star Wars.
It is hauntingly perfect.
