Agile is paying you to use electricity between 1030 and 1600 today. I’ve run out of things to do with it so I recommissioned the swimming pool a month early (4kW)

Given it doesn’t feel abnormally windy or especially sunny today, I feel quite positive about electricity generation and the future trend of prices !

I think it is more to do with it being a weekend. Less commercial demand

If it were a weekday, I'm not sure the tracker and agile prices would be as low

So far today, we have imported 2.4kWh @ 11.06, and exported 3.7kWh @ 15.00, and it's only lunchtime.

I'm on agile and have run out of ways to use electricity in any meaningful way. Car is at 100% and I've had the washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher on all day. Might have to have an afternoon bath and reheat the water using the immersion heater. It's as close to a swimming pool as I'm going to get!

I’m in a similar position. Looking around the best I came up without incurring additional operational costs (washing stuff for the sake or it or running the dishwasher both use consumables and water), is the self-cleaning cycle on the oven and running a fan heater and pointing it at the washing as a kind of tumble drier.

Anyone had issues with a charge plan this weekend? Plugged in twice and both times no charge plan.

maybe a fault with the vehicle/ charger? is there some sort of reset that can be done to the vehicle or charger?

Rang octopus. They said they can see the charger but its location is not correct so it will never work until its removed and re-added.

I removed it from my account and re-added and its back alive and working now.

i literally ran out of things to use (agile) electricity on over the weekend. car full, everything we could think of washed and dried. only positive about the continued crappy weather.

Switch off smart charging in Octo app, and do whatever car/charger needs?

My go-to is the immersion heater and the electric underfloor heater in the kitchen. Got to set phone reminders to turn them off though!

But yeah, car full and all imaginable laundry done - beds, towels the lot, whether it really needed doing or didn't. Sod's Law of course dictates that my son is coming home from backpacking in Thailand this week and I'll need to nuke his gear, so there won't be any paid for or freebies this weekend.

laugh I was almost at the point of going for a drive for the hell of it and sticking the oven on with the windows open! 29kWh on Saturday for -£1.29 biggrin
