It sounds like it's been over some time, to be honest. A failed attempt at marriage - how does that work then?

You will get over it, but it takes time. Relationships become a habit and you miss not having that person around, but time is a great healer. You are young enough to start over again, but in the meantime go out and have some fun. There is a whole big bad world out there. Good luck and chin up, we've all been there at one stage.

It gets easier.
Scotch and friends help.
But mainly friends.

We were due to be married in September but we mutually agreed to call it off a month or so beforehand (now my fault, apparently). We weren't getting on too well, for various reasons.

Oh and avoid PlentyOfFish.
It's properly mick.
You'd be better off walking into a Wetherspoons with a big net.

Then again, if you thought your mind would have changed in the next few years, you probably wouldn't have let her go The children thing came to the fore at Christmas. My other brother (not the drunk) became a dad last summer and we have been spending time with my nephew. On reflection, she has probably wanted kids for a while now but didn't say anything. Our relationship slowly went downhill from our failed attempt at marriage last september. I don't know what I'll feel in a few years. As for just letting her go, this wasn't the case. She didn't want me around anymore and didn't want to be with me. I took the hint as hanging around wouldn't be right. We are recently aunties/uncles to our brothers and sisters, bit it seems to be putting us of having them rather than making us feel broody. They are nice to be around for a short while, but loveley to give them back too. Sorry it ended this way. You will find someone better suited. Just don't force it and it will come to you

You are quite correct about the habit thing.

Doesnt sound like you're that upset at all unless you're hiding it. I dont mean that in a bad way at all. That is very good.
What I did when a relationship ended was to get fit, play computer games all night, and buy stupid cars. If you're not a big drinker then hobbies are good. Just bought a RC helicopter and when I get back home from work I'll give it a whirl!
Dating sites may be a bit soon but then again, she ended it. Not you. So do as you please.

Sorry to hear about this OP... however I hope you don't mind me asking this question? Why do you have to move out? Why can't she move out instead?

I don't mind answering questions The property we were living at is hers, so I had to go. We were planning on getting something together soon.

I guess it can be hard to convey emotion on here sometimes I'm looking at an iMac and some music software as a distraction soon . Good luck with the choppa.
