ive got a problem with one of my vision cartomisers, when you press the button it crackles and heats up as it should but when you draw on it nothing comes out. is it knackered? it was working and is pretty much brand new. the other one that came in my kit is still going strong.
anyone else getting fed up of people asking what it is when your out and about?? everyone keeps asking me if its some sort of pipe!

Sounds like an airflow problem, try easing the Vision off the battery a little and also ease off the mouthpiece a little. Then blow through the centre, to make sure it's not full of liquid.

But the fact is you sometimes get dud ones. I have bought six so far and one was no good, it had a very tight draw. The retailers know this and should send you a replacement.

Is it ok to carry a vision unassembled with liquid in?

Thinking about making a carry case that would fit in my pocket rather than the massive (sunglasses size) case, so would be easier if it is acceptable to carry the clearomiser/ego battery side by side rather than assembled.

I think that would be ok as no liquid comes out the bottom. As long as th emouthpiece is on it should be fine.

I was thinking along the lines of a cigar case so you could carry two fully loaded clearomisers and charged batteries. Something like this in leather

well just had my first fag in 9 days, bloody left the lights on my bike all day draining the battery.

After trying to bump start it and waiting on the AA coming to charge it up then riding in the rain to charge the battery I felt I needed one.

It was bloody awful never finished it, think that will be the last fag for me. Gave me a better hit but it tasted rotten.

I've just received my skycig. Initial impressions are pretty positive.

Rotten luck but great news overall. I felt like the skycig wasn't giving me a very good hit so moved on to the vision/ego and it is perfect for me.

Hoping my little bottles turn up today with the slightly stronger strength than the 12mg.
I get the feeling i will also upgrade to a new model as i'm on day 11 and the bit of backy i had in reserve has now dried out and gone in the bin.
Was on the bus into work this morning and a guy gets on stinking of smoke and for the whole ride into town he's sat making rollies and smelling like an ashtray, i realised that was me just over a week ago but not anymore and never again.
I have a few friends that have turned to these and they are suprised by how quick they dislike real cigs now.
Loving the E-cigs.

Well, 1 day in and despite having just got back from a good few pints at the pub, the skycig thingy seems to be doing the trick! Very very happy.

They're amazing aren't they? As I said before my brother is one person I never saw as being able to give up smoking & yet he's only lit up once since starting vaping. For some reason he wanted to see how he felt about smoking a real cig after being on the e-cigs for a while, luckily though he thought it was disgusting & only had a couple of puffs before binning it & getting his vaping kit out again.
It's a shame I didn't know about these when I went cold turkey to give up. I'd like to see what they're like myself but I've been off the nicotine for too long now to risk trying it - even with the 0mg juice.

Generally impressed by the skycig but slightly concerned by the cartridge leaking to the point there is a noticeable liquid over the battery section on picking the cig out of the right hand side of the case. In turn, as the cig is placed between fingers my fingers then have the noticeably strong smell of the nicotine liquid.

Slightly concerned as to how much the tip may be coated in this also! Dont fancy drinking too much nicotine liquid from the cig...

Been very careful to store it in the case, downwards, and even to ensure the case sits vertically all the time (despite that being a pain when carrying in the car etc) and yet still does this. Have emailed skycig and their customer service seems excellent with a few tips to see if its just a problematic cratridge or another issue. Need to look into it further but, I'll be honest, its put me off using it a little at the mo and I am back on the real mccoys...

Anyone else had a similar issue?

Might try plugging in a new catridge but seems a bit of a waste as only had a dozen puffs from the first one...

Got my SkyCig yesterday, and so far so good. I keep forgetting I have it though, so keep jumping up and off for a real ciggie, but its just a mind set thing i think.

Not getting the hit I usually do, and its making me cough when i use it, but think that just because im a bit of a heathen when it comes to smoking and just have huge drags of whatever I am smoking at the time.

Will see how it goes over the weekend, off down somerset to see the inlaws, so have the drive and the weekend with them to give it a good test in a real world environment where i would probably smoke more than normal

Anyone recommend a decent place to get the liquid?

Is totally wicked expensive compared to other site?

Thanks

Try libertyflights. I'll vouch for them delivering quickly although you'll need to check whether the prices are any different. smile

A bit of advice - the main thing new users do wrong with an e-cig is try and do quick sharp draws on it like a regular cig. The best way with an e-cig is a long slow draw into the mouth and then a quick inhale into the lungs.

For those looking for lots of "hit" - you need devices that with support low resistance atomisers or cartomisers. I really like "hit" and use "mod" type devices with low resistance 306 atomisers and a drip-tip

Still waiting for the stuff I ordered from the laughably named 'health cabin' to turn up after 2 weeks frown

The fluids I got from Liberty Flights aren't bad, bit weak tasting but pleasant enough. I think I'm just going to get a few litres of PG and VG and have a crack at developing my own.

Really liking the Tornado kit a lot though, highly recommended.

Got my sample 5ml bottles today tiramisu, strawberry tart (not black cherry) and kola all at 18mg strength.
Very easy to refill the skycig cartridges, but how long they last as you don't really know if it's full or not so will see how I did.
As for the flavours,
Tiramisu - taste has a very creamy coffee mouthful, like using coffee mate / smell is just like the desert it's self.
Strawberry tart - taste is very much like that moon dust you got as a kid / smell is like sherbet crystals you had aged 10.
Kola - anyone remember the kola cubes ? Great, buy this and smoke it. smile
I have a feeling after filling 6 cartridges (2of each flavour) each bottle will do at least a week each for £2.99.
So looking about £10 per month ish.
Edit-when I say smell, I actually mean the mental picture your mind gets from the taste, if you know what I mean.

Did you choose the fast (Ha!) shipping method? Usually about 10 days. I think they've just had another Chinese holiday where everything grinds to a halt. Slow shipping method can take 3 weeks or more.
