After nearly 300 pages on this I've never posted...despite some classics from the O/h, but 3 times in a week! Now her time has come. 1st one - she ordered a brand new TDI last year - specifically wanted a new car - diesel for work runs, cheap insurance/running costs etc. Orders a new TDI. Virtually exactly a year later and after I'd finished cleaning the thing for her O/H - " has the Polo always had TDI on the back " Me - " ehh Yeah - funnily enough - that's what it is...just like you ordered" O/H - " Ohh I thought you maybe bought the badge from Halfords or something" Me " f king really??? You do know what I think of people who buy badges from Halfords or de-badge cars don't you??" Was willing to let her off with that then 2 days later O/H - " have Italy always played in Blue " Me - " ffs - yes. Have you not heard of The Azzurri before - you know Azure blue??" O/H - " But blue isn't in their flag??" Then this mornig O/H - " Doesn't the ball have to touch the ground for it to be a goal?" Me - " Wrong sport darling" O/H - " Are you sure??" Me - " Yes ffs - I only the played the game for years - supported the same team for years and watch it day in day out...I think I'm sure !!" I think it may be the start of dementia. She's never usually thick. But 3 times in a week !!

Surely the TDI one isn't harsh? Granted the two football ones are a bit harsh...but the TDI one? I think not !

Yes CHR, those are just you beeing all angry and expecting a woman to know everything about all your hobbies. THat the equivalent to her saying to her friends "I mentioned Jennifer Anniston to Craphouse last night and can you believe he didn't even know she was going out with Martin SHeen. What an idiot. I can't believe it. He is sooo thick"

Points noted...but the TDI one!! Come on! A year after getting the car...driving it every day and putting stuff in the boot and then she asks if its always had TDI on the back and then thinking I bought it from Halfords !!
Football ones harsh - I agree.

Football ones harsh - I agree. Maybe she doesn't care that much? It's a small thing to be honest. If she didn't know the make and model after a year you might have a point. Different people, different interests, hardly makes for a mental.

Until then, the country's flag always had the Savoy coat of arms on it. It is only since the Italian Republic was established post-war that the tricolor has been the national flag. HTH

Not the Mrs but something her colleague said when I was waiting for the OH to finish work last night - "Why aren't Brazil playing in the Euro's?"
Before anyone says it, she works in a betting shop so I would have thought she would have some idea of what the Euro's are.

She knows it's blue, if given multiple choice options would probably work out it's a ford, but beyond that it's just a box she gets in to to drive to work

Easy mistake to make as the ball can go past the posts not touch the ground and not be a goal, see England’s last match.
