RacingPete said: It has been announced today that Booey has been named PFA Poster of the year, here on the Arsenal thread. Unlike the football award these initials stand for Positivism Favouring Arsenal and won the award clearly ahead of any of the pessimistic Arsenal fans that frequent these boards. Recent posts saw him achieve this great accolade, with everyone remembering the skilfully worded "Wilshere and Arteta are up there with Xavi and Iniesta on their day". Though it wasn't just his performance at the back end of the season that sealed the trophy - when 2-0 down at Sunderland a brilliant one-two of positivity on the thread saw this "Have you never seen Arsenal come back in a cup tie? Don't speak too soon." Booey was unable to comment on the award as he was too busy trying to emulate the shot of RVP in his bedroom wearing an Arsenal kit. Thanks Pete. And cheers for sending the champagne!

Holding onto 3rd is looking a lot more important after the Chelsea result tonight.

I actually think Arsenal have the best run in Stoke away Norwich home West Brom away Stoke away is probably the hardest fixture but none of these teams are fighting for anything other than prize money Newcastle Wigan away Chelsea away Man City home Everton away All hard games Spurs Blackburn home Bolton away Villa away Fulham home Three of those four are in the relegation zone Chelsea QPR home Newcastle home Liverpool away Blackburn home Not an easy game there. I can't see Chelsea making up the ground....third has to be out of their reach?

I would like to see that Cheib. Can't see him at United or Chelsea. United because there is not much to achieve there and not Chelsea because the owner is a . In my opinion it will be either City or Arsenal. I would love to see him at Arsenal because I think he will keep and develop our style of football. He also has relationships with the best players in the world a could tempt a few to North London. With that in mind however, if City fail to win big trophies next year, I can see them paying through the nose to get him in Manchester and he may be tempted by their transfer fund and squad. If he wants a project to get stuck into and if he wants to keep playing attractive football he should seriously consider Arsenal if Wenger is willing to go upstairs. He is the only manager I can think of who I would feel 100% confident in from day one. The dressing room will have massive respect for him and with good reason. I also like the variation he plays with and the obscure formations he has been known to play. I watched the press conference earlier today and Wenger clearly has a lot of respect for him. I imagine they will enjoy working together. Where he ends up is anybodies guess really but you never know our luck..

At one point against Chelsea they were playing 1-5-4!

I reckon it'll be Man United in a years time. Gives SAF one last year at the top and also allows Pep to enjoy a year's sabbatical as he wants. He can shadow SAF for the next twelve months, watch them in training and generally prepare himself for the smoothest of transitions.
