So its ok to abuse a player that may have been racially abused....because he has been racially abused.

And so what if Chelsea put out some two bob half assed statement about those morons a Wembley. Its still a disgrace although I imagine it was probably some of the Johnny come latlely brigade.
Is it ok to constantly pour filthy and disgusting abuse on a player because of rumours about his sexuality, especially when he used to play for you but left to join local rivals where he could actually win stuff and become a better player, by playing alongside better players.

Why not ask Sol Campbell about what club has scumbag fans and see if Chelsea is top of his list? Didn't the police have to get invovled to try and stop it.

But I freely admit that at Chelsea we have our fair share of scumbag fans, no doubt about it. I just wish we were scumbag free like Spuds. rolleyes
Totally agree. Campbell received dogs abuse and reffering to his sexuality is way out of line. He deserved all he got as far as what he done to Spurs as did Cole for what he did to Arsenal. But the it should have been stick regarding his lack of loyalty and decency not his sexuality or colour.

There are a certain number of Chelsea fans (I know quite a few too through work) who wouldn't give a st about what Terry had (alledgedly) done even if he admitted it and would still support him whatever.

And to comment on the fact that Chelsea have black players so its alright has to be the biggest load of bks I've ever heard.
I never made that comment!! Get your facts straight.

Chelsea have always had problems with their pitch. Yes even before most chelsea fans started going pre 2003 .
Pretty sure it gets relayed every close season .. mind you still looks like a carpet compared to the days when they had the dog track
Conjured up a mental image of a lot of people scratching their heads and thinking "dog track??" hehe

In the days when we had a dog track, every team in the league had a st pitch for roughly half the season. I can clearly remember watching Jimmy Hill on MoTD (in black and white) with pitches that resembled quagmires. Giggedy...

Thats true, its close to the river and low lying. You are a bit out of date about the pitch being relaid every close season. That did happen for a few years but its part artificial now (Like Wembley for example ) and has been pretty good for several years. Yesterday the game was played after huge amounts of rain for hours before and during and it was quite surprising it survived at all. Even the good pitch at WHL used a couple of hours later began to suffer yesterday.
Thats 2 consecutive games played in a deluge in a row on that pitch in recent weeks, see how it is on weds. but if it survives another wet one I'd be amazed.

Have a look at the state of this pitch back in the day, and this was for an FA Cup Semi!

Curbs very nearly self-combusted in the TV interview after that one.

You certainly gave that impression by tagging it on to the end of your reply to my comments. Very disingenuous.

Probably best if you toddle on back to your own forum and carry on moaning about a dodgy decision single handedly causing you to lose the cup semi 5-1.

I took my son on the stadium tour end of May last year and the entire pitch was being relaid, and the tour guide said it was done every season, but as you say, it has an element of artificial in it (something like 20% of every m2 is plastic?)

Not quite. If posters want to contribute, fine, if they want to troll, continuously, not fine.

And, what is and what is not trolling?

Banter involves a certain level of piss-taking but those on the end of it sometimes cry "troll".

Lets be honest, the only "contributions" (in the positive sense of the word) are going to come from CFC fans - everybody else is just having a giggle - and thats how all the footy threads work on here.

He's right you know. I suggest that everyone has a giggle by popping over to the Spuds thread and telling them that they're all scum, that they have no history (although they may protest that they won something of meaning back in the days of black and white telly, but who really gives a fk?). Add in that they're vile homophobes, have no idea what proper support means (see the mass exit from the cup SF) and that the team are self serving wkers who can't wait to get away next season to a club that might actually win something.

I'm sure that this banter will go down a storm.

You are more than welcome to do so, there won't be anyone crying troll or telling you to get out of our thread etc.

And anyway during the game at Wembley and against QPR Chelsea fans (some) proved that they do not have any respect for other teams fans and they also condone racial abuse. People don't just post biased rantings on this thread as we're given plenty of ammunition by CFC and the way a certain amount of its fans behave.

When you are crying troll etc what you are actually saying is you don't like what's being said.

So what? Singing racist/homophobic songs about Adebayor and Campbell proves that Spurs also has its fair share of numpty fans. The difference is I dont feel the need to come over into a Spurs thread and tell Spurs fans on here that their fans are st or that their Club must condone racism or some such other bks. And the reason I don't is precisely because of the example I gave.

You'd do well to read the article linked to earlier regarding football fans preaching morality. Seriously, you don't need to look hard for "ammunition" against almost any club. Think about it. Or, alternatively, keep digging. You'll probably explode again soon enough.
