Wonder if they'll trying and claim some 'heritage' justification with the LM002... hehe

Would genuinely love to know what Lamborghini old-hands such as Valentino Balboni make of this thing! Whether they are happy for the company he was part of for so long to make whatever it takes to keep the money coming in, or whether it offends him deeply!

Just as stupid as Landrover making a super car.
Now there's an idea, someone get Tata on the phone, they could base it on the ready made Jaguar C-X75 platform, I look forward to the reveal of the Strange Rover Vogue Sport Supercharged V8 Autobiography Ultimate Edition Supercar.

Lol, the tyres match the silly new lights. I'm hating a lot of new cars right now. They all look ridiculous!

All these funny octagons, pentagons and triangles everywhere. For some reason it reminds me of how people used to imagine the future. When you watch the old 1960's films set in the future. Just looks cheap and tacky. The interior doesn't give the impression of quality.
1960's Captain Scarlet - the rot was already setting in - a practical supercar!

I'm not going to bother commenting on a car I haven't seen.

If TVR had made an SUV which nobody on PH liked but which sold like hotcakes in China and allowed the company to continue making sports cars, I'd not have had a problem with it.

I can't see this being particularly different. If some weird modern take on the LM002 means that the comapny can continue to make supercars, where'd the downside?

And incidentally, the few people that see an LM002 on the road and know what it is think how utterly cool and bonkers it is, yet I wonder how many purists deplored its launch at the time.

It cheers me up a lot when I read a sane and decent comment on PH.

The tractor division is long separated and the tractors came first and funded the cars which were only a furious riposte to Ferrari anyway.

The LM002 was really a creature of absolute desperation and life and death for Lamborghini - everyone knew that whether they liked it or not but fashion is a rather less compelling argument when you're owned by a massive corporation.

'hybridisation'
'daily useability'
'600HP'

...it looks as bad as this;

But will cost $$$$$

Hateful escalation of a market nobody really asked the question to in the first place. I am sure they will sell being this years SUV for the uber rich but ultimately a very forgettable 'car' from Lambo.

That's it! Cross this with something from TRON and we have the Lamborghini.

Not does it only have one red button (that i REALLY want to press) but it has two, TWO!!! Whats happens when you press them both simultaneously? I hope it is like Lambo's of old and arms the rocket launchers and sprouts wings!

But if it had a lambo or Porsche badge with some dodge pot fashionista type designing the interior it would be 'simply amaaaaazing daaarling'

F1 cars have bigger wing mirrors.....

One assumes they are cameras linking to some sort of internal screen? So re-writing the way we look at Lamborghini, and the way we look behind? All in one vehicle.

Either way I can't see that feautre surviving to the manufacture stage.

Maybe we can get Victoria Beckham to improve the interior.
