As an experiment, I tried something the other day on my diesel Focus. And it actually worked and gave quite abit of extra shove aswell! 1. Empty windscreen washer bottle 2. Re-route water pipe to somewhere near the air/turbo inlet and secure. 3. Fill washer bottle with diesel (other fuels may work better). 4. When driving give the windscreen washer button a quick press and enjoy the extra power 5. Enjoy! NB Don't do this when the car is idling under no load. NB2 I wouldn't recommend this at all really, it was just an idea I had, try at your own risk!

I'm intrigued to know how the extra diesel is 'free'.

Are you sure you just hadn't inadvertently left your back seats down after transporting something?

Do I need to put it in the pipe or something, or will just "nearby" be good enough? I figured I needed to make it go in the pipe, so I changed the hose to run into the main air inlet. It worked for a bit but now my car runs really bad and the engine smells too. I opened the air filter and it's all soaking with diesel. Am I doing it right? Cheers

Enjoy the extra speed while your window wipers drag across a bone dry windscreen.
Why didn't I think of this?

Good lord!
I vowed years ago to never waste money on a new car as depreciation is ridiculous, yet I now see an advantage as you can be sure your car has never been owned by a numpty like the OP!
OP, step away from the bonnet release, you are a hazard.
