For example:

Mighty Car Mods are back on their VW Up with a GTI engine conversion. Being in Australia where they sold the Up but not the GTI is an issue. The Up parts are a bit of a Lego kit where things fit together, but the GTI has some specific different bits. Like their Levorg WRX conversion, I'm sure they'll get it done, but this one is tougher as they're not working with a complete GTI or a front end to transfer.

Agreed, it's like you can hear each individual cylinder exploding!

I tend to agree that I can't see it any time soon - however never, as the song goes, is a long long time. The fact that they have people thinking like this and proposing such measures is a warning to be heeded, there are already people on a FB group I'm on who not only can't see a problem with this - they're actively welcoming it
