This is something for all the RC vehicle fans out there. This is a new 1:10 scale RC personal watercraft with simulated jet-drive. It is styled very similarly to the Sea-Doo RXT-X 300 and has a top speed of around 20kph from the brushless power system. The scale-realism is very good and it is great fun on open water. See it in detail below, including testing on a rocky mountain river:

A case in downtown San Francisco where a lady was waiting at a red light and a tow truck tried to take the car - driver and all....

This is one of those "wow, just wow" moments. Maybe he thought he was actually picking up a Waymo gone self-aware (it was behind the lady) and got the cars mixed up? Mmmm maybe not but the Waymo had other ideas and got outta Dodge quick smart....

"TowTrucker" channel is the best of the genre imo; he works in the less attractive parts of Atlanta, Georgia and no way I would want to do his job there. Good guy though.

The outfit on that new clip look like a bunch of chancers; charged with fraud and false imprisonment so obviously they were out to scam people. I have heard/seen tow truckers rock up and yank their mark at any opportune moment, so lifting someone's car when stuck in traffic is fair game if their name is on the list (in the US at least) but does look like attempted kidnapping in that video.

Roman Atkinson’s Driven Man.
Stumbled across this the other day, I remember watching it 30 odd years ago, interesting looking back on it now, the change in some attitudes, and reinforcing of others. Very funny in places piece from a proper petrol head.

I do mean your car and it's because you're having to turn left every time you brake in a straight line, and keep drifting every time you were gassing it out of a righthander but not out of lefthanders.

You steer these cars on throttle, it's how they need to be driven. There's only two left handers and they both require much more patience on throttle than the rest of the right handers. Into the complex is gentle application of throttle to settle the rear after trail braking in, and the last corner is obviously a very slow hairpin where you have to wait and open your hands before you can give it the beans.

The thing about turning left when braking, I'm just not seeing it ...nor did I feel it.

I do see it, for example into T1 on most laps.
Have a look at https://youtu.be/0qBYMrPi_Z8?si=nJkku-eYwNPh8BIx&a... in 4K and slow motion and look at where the steering wheel is pointing under braking, for an example on one lap. It happens on most laps. I know the car is darty under braking, it's visible, but it also looks like it's trying to pull right and that's why you're steering left to make it track straight (although it'll likely also be yawing right a bit while this is happening).

For the other side of this, the acceleration side, compare the number of rear slides when you've got right lock on (practically nil) with the number for left sweepers (practically every time you touch the gas pedal).

That's why. Not trolling or trying to get a rise out of you, or being mean about the car. It's just what I see compared against my own experience (which is >20 years of various karts and cars on track).

You realise that the onboard you just shared of the white and orange car isn't me?

No, I don't realise that, since you wrote:

Yep. I did ask if you meant my car.. anyway.. I'll be sure to not pass on any of your advice to him rofl but I concur he did seem to be having some problems. I was much stronger on the brakes.
