Whilst out cycling earlier today I saw a chap washing his car by his very smart garage and then it occurred to me that I'd seen that garage somewhere before - it's edo's newly built one.
I stopped for a little natter and I must say it does look great. Top job!

Thanks for stopping by - please do so again in the Cobra!!
Preferably in your garage to keep on topic.

Finally got round to getting a new garage built and taking a photo.
Righthand side is for bikes and motorbike, lefthand is for the car I now can't afford after paying for the garage.
Done by the same guy that built edo's
You and Edo clearly both live at the posh end of town!Righthand side is for bikes and motorbike, lefthand is for the car I now can't afford after paying for the garage.

Very impressed by both
My Garage was a bomb site after a busy winter of working on the cars chassis, Mainly due to removing waxoyl from it (horrid stuff ) Any i gave the floor a paint up and layed some big mats down to stop the tyres lifting the paint plus it is nice to lie on when under the car.
I am board and i want to bump this thread as there are some great garages on here.
How it was last winter.
And how it stands as off today.
Still got work to do on it but getting there now.

Oh alright then - here's one in its diminutive and overcrowded garage. No room to build a bigger one so it'll have to wait until we move house in a couple of years.Preferably in your garage to keep on topic.

Gentlemen of the garage.
I have just had my (very small) garage sorted for damp and am left with an exquisitely laid but unaesthetically pleasing concrete floor.
Can anyone suggest options for a floor covering, whether it be tiles, paint, mats etc that would work well in an area that was prone to damp but has hopefully now been sorted!?

Yep - IMHO plastic floor tiles is what you want. They aren't stuck down and so can be readily lifted to tackle any further damp problems, and they look good too http://www.garagestoragecabinets.co.uk/page/garage...I have just had my (very small) garage sorted for damp and am left with an exquisitely laid but unaesthetically pleasing concrete floor.

Hmm, tiles hey.
I'm struggling to think of a way I can make them work now I've got my thinking cap on. Mainly due to:
4'' sinkaway on one long side of garage
Slightly uneven floor (but not mad wobbly)
Other two walls are not straight (wobbly where skirting would be if it were a room)
Perhaps paint is the only way to go.
