Clearly I couldnt be further from the truth, do you have a thread on the kitten?
Not in here but I've one on RetroRides:

http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/135609/reli...

It might actually be for sale if I got the right offer, I never seem to have any time to play with it!

Csl on winters? Respect.
Yes, and the tyres are truly awful unless it is actually snowy... But the M3 wheels are a lot easier to clean than the CSL rims at least !

That looks great Ian, and about half the price that I imagined for something like that. Can anyone comment about the quality of this gear?

Well described with a good video here http://www.garagepride.co.uk/product/newage-garage...

They might do some price matching if asked?

Thats proper bonkers. Id love something like that but wouldn't be able to afford it. Having my own little race car is something I aspire to.

Yep, had mine for about 3 months now, hefty and solid would be a good description. Feels well made, drawer runners are smooth even when the drawerüs are heavily loaded.

Could you please tell me the height of your garage to the ridge? Or even the height internally to the peak? I'm building a new garage later in the year with a view to it taking a lift.

Can I just say to those who have clearly done well in life

A) well done

B) what's your bloody secret

This thread makes me quite envious considering I work every hour God sends in our family company yet only just manage to make it to the end of the month with bills and mortgage, I mean seriously I have no money left to enjoy

Would be quite nice to know how most ended up been in the privileged position they're now in

Cracking thread lovely garages and perfect cars, keep it up
Was thinking the exact same thing.

Carl
I used to think like this, and said something to a friend one day regarding it.

He replied with :

"Life's a st sandwich and it always snack time "

Tbh it relats to most questions I ask myself.

Nice garages by the way.

The solutions seem to be:

1. Inherit it.

2. Win it.

3. Obtain it by doing things most people are not prepared to do.

Principally have the balls to stop being an employee and to set up your own business with all the risks, stress and hard work that entails, and if all goes well eventually to sell it.

For me, buy the crappiest houses you can, (6 of the buggers) live in them, do ALL the work yourself while holding down a full time job, sell and move on, have lots of children, start own business and work 60+ hours a week.

Nothing to it.

For me, as above do all the stuff others don't want to do ! Launch and turnaround companies for others who dont want to do the grunt or won't do the nasty bits like having to make mass people redundant or fire people ( in order to save some )

I agree.

I think I must have over 5m as I designed a steeper than standard pitch, 4x4s fit easily with space to spare.

Actually I have 4.70 to under the ridge.

I have spaced braces so cars can go as high as you like with just over 6ft working space under the car.!
