Oh...I wouldn't have known, so the misbadging would have been lost on me.

No problem. beer

SUVs are kind of off my radar, so the misbadge didn't stand out to me or impress me either way.

Spotted today in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
I'm missing something I think...or maybe my eyes aren't good enough?
That isn't a Range Rover...
Its a LR Discovery Sport
It's also tragic.

Genuinely, I assume the non suspecting bought that used.

I agree it is tragic though.

There’s a C220 CDI AMG with 4 exhaust pipes on my route to gym. Next time I spot the bigger I’ll sneak a picture.

It has 2 proper exhaust pipes, then 2 stuck on cut outs by the looks of it.
I know a lad who is a mate of a mate who has a C180 that he has badged up as an AMG, fitted the body kit, exhausts etc.

Hes been banned twice and also seems to get daily parking tickets.

My neighbour across the road has similar. E class diesel fully badged up as an E63 AMG, only single exhaust though.

You can buy three cylinder diesel BMWs with M badging applied at the factory!

Pretty much all manufacturers do this though - M sport, R line, R design, S line, AMG line, N line, GT etc etc.

No AMG badges on it, thankfully, but my E250 diesel is on the logbook as an AMG sport after the 250 cdi. No idea why other than a marketing ploy.

There used to be a 520d up the road that was being slowly turned into an M5 lookalike and driven by the sort of bell-end you would expect to do that.

It got a clamp for non-payment of VED and was driving around without an MOT. Priorities. Spunk all your money on definitely not stolen M5 accoutrements, don't waste it on frivolities like MOT and Tax.

Additionally badged? Whatever it was it didn't look right.

It is actually a Lancia, but marketed as a Chrysler in the UK as Lancia are still under the impression that Brits only remember them for rusty Beta and Gamma and not awesome Delta and Thema.

Could have made a good job of rebadging though, like actually bought the correct pieces from a Lancia dealer in Italy.

Oh, and get some new number plate bolts and how many cars has that faded Auto Italia sticker graced.

Sort it out!

Those number plate screws offend me.
