Interesting semi-colon use on that list.

When I had a JDM Subaru Legacy GT Spec-B 2.0 twinscroll estate, I made a point of recording the time and date I spoke to the insurance to check they knew what they were insuring... the price was much closer to what I'd expect for a cooking UK 2 litre, not one with Bilsteins and a bloomin' great turbo strapped to it. "We work from the number plate and the description from the DVLA." And the V5 just said 2.0.
So I believe I was covered, and cheaply too... but I always held a nagging worry at the back of my head that they'd suddenly become a lot less keen after a crash.
Funny enough an imported Yamaha R1 I had was cheaper to insure than Kawasaki ZX6R. Also, it was declared what it was and no funny business.
On the other hand, I don't trust imports. It is mainly about vehicle's history that is often not available and/or hidden.

Steering wheel may be on the wrong side.

That's a daft list rolleyes The opposite of those points can be the case too. Take it on a car by car basis.

I agree. Silly list from the AA for the most part.

“Suspension may be stiffer”, oh no someone call the police we can’t be having that laugh

My Toyota and Skyline have been easier to deal with that any of my UK cars, I had to get a rare replacement part from Japan for mine and while it took some time it was still cheaper than a similar part for my Jaguar.

Only problem I have had is I had to take the Crown to a main dealer for the aux belt and the little sts took it for a joyride. Normal serving is with the man down the lane and that is simple.

Here's a toppy E500 at £6k with 177k. but well specced -- not sure on the exhausts, however as despite my attempts at developing an E500 beard over my years of ownership the inclusion of AMG sport alloys throws me off -- were these really standard? They look tidy.

Seems very reasonable, not many of these about. This genre of Mondeo drive brilliantly (previously owned x3)

THREAD PURCHASE.

Well, actually SUB thread by £50 or so.

2003 Cayenne S 4.5 with just 159k on the clock. Needs a gear selector, a suspension height sensor, but other than that it drives very nicely and has a thick stack of decent history. I'm not sure what options it has, I've not been able to find a Porsche VIN decoder, but it has nice smooth leather on the doors and dash and a removable tow bar so that's nice. MOT until December too!

It's going to be pressed into service towing things, making tip runs, and generally being a van until it breaks.

One more shot of it in it's natural habitat

Never understand the spec sometimes. Folk splash ££££'s for things like massage, heated and cooled seats and yet NO parktronic (parking sensors). What's all that about?!

Fair point but in the context of an ad for two grands worth of leggy old E500 for £6k that's the smallest concern.

Another seller who needs to check the news and find out that COVID is over and nobody is spending thousands on any crap old car anymore.
