Tried to open the passenger door this morning, got half a turn from the solenoid, then nothing on both door mirror and interior button. Door was secure so set off anyway tutting to myself of something else to fix. About 3/4 hr into my journey, I hear a click and suddenly the car fills with cold air. The passenger door window is half way down and the door is on the latch! Pull over, shut door and carry on. Passenger door now works absolutely fine on both buttons, problem solved! Bless her....

Ha ha - your post reminds me of 2 things:-
Why I'm single and why I sold my TVR!
To me, they're just not worth the hassle!

i agree, clear proof. Though u must have a very understanding female, my female would have waited until we were passing an innocent pedestrian, then opened the door, oh and the pedestrian would have been a weight lifter who would have then used my head to clean my wheels. . . Maybe i shouldnt have married a red head. . .

When I crashed my first Tuscan, my Wife insisted that I get another one. I'm near the end of a 5 week business trip and while I've been away she's had my SP12's reconditioned. You just have to find a good one

The only good use i've found for one is as a skip, biggest pile of crap i've ever driven period. Even if i had a Tuscan that did not drive at least it would give me a smidgen of credit just sat on the drive

ive got a scoda, baught with 200 miles on it in 2005, 1.8 turbo the only 5 door car we have, baught it after mmy mate had one we use to take the piss out of him till i had to go to Doncaster in it with him, it sat at 130+ most of the way there , was comfortable and quiet. went and baught one 2 days later , mmum in her 70s takes all the lasses bowling all over the country it has lots of room and a massive boot , We use it for meetings and when we go away as the Aston, tvr,z4mc and slk all have sad boots, it will give any a run for the money, returns lots of mpg is totaly reliable only having pads and 3 services since new WHAT A FANTASTIC CAR oh and still probily holds 40 percent of its value at 7 yr old , and its a lot easier to shag in than any of the others , so if your ugly may be you need a tvr to pull in (and it will probily be all thats managable in it,but try a 3 some,Dont nock a scoda if you do youve probily never had one and have seriousley missed out on a wicked car.
