Reminds me of the time I got to Olivers Mount early on race day. Snook onto the track (which was already closed off) at about 4am, and proceeded to do what any right minded PH would do on a closed road all by yourself on a GSXR750.

On the third lap someone from the pits swung what I think was a broom at me as I was braking hard for the hairpin. Fortunately he missed, but I called it a day ... next lap he might have been on my side of the fence!

That story is a bit rough though, sounds like the tw*t got off light because the beak was anti-bike.

I read somewhere that the Police are considering investigating fatal RTA's as possible suspected Homicide, by the fact that a speeder is knowingly risking the lives of others (dangerous weapon etc) by that standard this is a clear case of attempted murder and the tw@t should get life imprisonment or at the very least be charged with GBH and criminal damage.

Unbelievable, community service...FFS this was attempted murder or assult in the least. Makes me wonder this kind of judgement agianst all motorised road users. If the biker had gone for him you can bet the biker would have got more than f***ing community service.
