At the minute, outside of those who are already confirmed it’s hard to predict what will happen and who goes where.
A lot will ride on what happens with PBM and wether they remain in the championship or not, personally I feel that they will stay, but what do I know?
Barring any kind of disaster this year’s champion is going to come from the PBM team, if they do decide to pull out of the series it will leave the champion and the likely runner up both looking for a rides for next year. WSBK for either of them? Hmmmm maybe? But unlikely.
Iddon out and a Tommy to return to Oxford? Again that’s a possibility.
I think until PBM announce one way or another what’s happening with the team it’s hard to predict which way things will go.

If PBM decide not to continue, that is going to throw a spanner in the works BIG time. For me own personal thoughts, maybe they won't continue as they are now but maybe continue as either a whole new entity or split into two seperate teams.
The way things are going in BSB, i think the days of big teams are almost over, McAms are folding at the end of the year, so for what i would class as a big team that only leaves FS-3, Honda, OMG and PBM. TAS have been a one rider team this season and everyone else is running a much much smaller budget these days for obvious reasons and i think the likes of Moto Rapido, Kent Lovell, Mar Train etc will be the way forward for the future

I totally understood Glen Irwin’s decision to not participate again in the TT and it was great to see him for 1 year. I was also pleased that Josh Brookes came back this year after 5 years.
However I think the TT needs more too BSB riders.

I think the way BSB is heading, smaller one rider teams are going to be the norm rather than the exception and with the new Pathway rules coming into force for 2024, i think there will be a lot more smaller teams coming through.
I think PBM will fold at the end of the year.
Dean is definitely on factory Honda.
As for More BSB riders at the TT. Can't see it TT is a very niche thing. Dean,Pete and MD are at 105% even at TT. It takes a lot to do that round there and most of the BSB paddock are not willing to do that on the roads. So no point in going if your not going to win.

So it looks like IWR are stepping up to BSB with a Pathway spec Fireblade ridden by Alex Olson - certainly for the last two rounds but i expect them to be on the grid next year.
Same goes for Marvel/HCL with Franco Bourne
I think this is going to be the future of BSB, single rider teams on the less powerful bikes leaving the likes of FHO, Honda UK and PBM IF they continue as the big teams.

Maybe true but it will at least give teams a chance to get a foot in the door and see if they want to commit to full superbike but also riders will have a chance to see if they have the desire to try and jump to superbike. Lets be honest, many a rider has tried to jump to superbikes with not much success, most obvious one is Jack Kennedy although he is bucking that trend this year on the R1 but Billy McConnell is another, excellent on a stocker but not quite so good on a full superbike and the pathway regs give riders wanting to find out a chance to do just that without having to find the budget for a full superbike or as is so often mentioned in commentary, chucking a very expensive full superbike down the road.Stk1000 - pathway isn’t a massive budget jump proportionally , but that next step to running a superbike is massive
It has to be said that some riders simply cannot adjust fully to a superbike, Kennedy is not alone, kenan couldn't, Muggeridge, Broc Parkes, did Jim Moodie ever go aswell an a bike as a 600? John Crawfiord? It is not easy.
A few adjusted who you thought might not like Easton, and the best ones can ride both for sure, but that adjustment is not always easy I think

Also Billy McConnal and Jamie van Sikkelerus moving up to superbikes with C&L Fairburn Jackson racing team, in the new pathway spec .
And having listened to Jordan Bird on chasing the racing, it's pretty clear PBM will continue into 24 and beyond.

Good news about Fairbun/Jackson racing moving up and also if PBM continue into next year and beyond. Also Billy McConnal and Jamie van Sikkelerus moving up to superbikes with C&L Fairburn Jackson racing team, in the new pathway spec .

Wonder what will happen to Brayden Elliott now Buchan is confirmed, be a bit of a kick in the nuts if he gets booted to the kerb after staying with them on an uncompetitive bike in Superstock and then filling the vacant seat after Harrison called it time on his tenure there.
