It really was, lovely thing to ride and that triple motor was just a peach, absolutely all I ever needed for the road

Yeah that's true, the R was pretty well-spec'd.. Well, mechanically at least, it didn't really have any of the electronics that came later, not even ABS..

Any excuse for a pic..

To me, that is still one of the best looking bikes going! Gorgeous!

Having owned a myriad of British, Italian, Japanese and Austrian sports/super/naked bikes, I came to the conclusion the 2015 Daytona 675R was the most fun and best sounding of all of them. What a machine.

With all the positive comments of the Daytona…makes it stranger that Triumph don’t convert the ST RS to a sportsbike. Having said that MCN had an article last suggesting that they might be thinking of it.

Owned an 08 600RR for six years until I sold it in 2021. Countless track days, IOM TT trips and ride outs were enjoyed. Nice bike and great fun when wringing it’s neck.

Liking the look of the ‘24 bike, although it still looks quite retro to my eye.

Probably similar to my 2012 GSXR 600 (120ish bhp at 15,000 rpm) - anything over 10,000 rpm and it feels rocket ship fast, if I keep it in that zone it keeps pace with my mate on his 160hp Ducati Monster.

How does it compare to the current ZX 6R? It would be great to see a group test at some point

When I bought my 2015 Kawasaki ZX6 R 636 PEd back in 2016, it was between that a the Triumph Daytona 675. I’m sure the Triumph would have been a great buy.

It’s great to see Manufacturers supporting the these mid sized sports bikes that were once best the best selling bikes in the UK.

I’m in the process of putting down a deposit. Seems like they are selling fast (as they are only bringing in 400). What makes no sense is that they are bringing in loads of black bikes. I would have thought those wanting red would massively outnumber the black.

Congrats! Red or black? I'd want the jazzy colour, but I'm weird like that

Red. It looks a bit invisible in the black (in pictures).
