+ 1 million on the rev bombers - In the bikeshed the other night, a load of Japanese power rangers revving, blipping all the way through the restaurant. I can only assume they thought the rest of the punters had never heard a stty sounding Japanese bike with a aftermarket exhaust before.........or maybe they had removed their injection and put carbs on that weren't adjusted properly and they had to keep them blipping so they didn't cut out. tts.

Caffeine and Machine(s) work super well, the staff are mega, food great and owners lovely.

BIkeshed - likewise but if you don't live in London can be a nuisance getting to

Deux Ex Machina great too

I was at Rykas the other day, and it was a novelty , but did seem a little 'biker' for my tastes. That's just me though, I don't really ride sportsbikes too much.

Also big vote for Bar Italia (sshhh don't tell everyone) - particularly as it's open 24 hours, so you can turn up late late and have a chill out

I like Koti near Chipping C. Went in the car whilst at the fire college. That’s the vibe I like. And good coffee.

For me I always pick the meets where there's a decent ride to them. Can't be arsed filtering through cities to go and have a coffee somewhere, a nice rural location, plenty of space for parking and a decent brew / buttie at the end would do the job.

Willingham Woods, Lincs is my most common haunt. This is due to the general turnout and good roads leading up to it (albeit with a nice new average camera section at the end). Police presence is always heavy there though so you can't be too giddy.

It's interesting, other than Bike Shed I didn't really know such places existed.

There's a cafe at Krazy Horse which is just up the road from me but I thought that was just for people to wait while their bikes were being serviced hehe

Not really my thing, right up till visiting BaffleHaus near Pontypool. Thats the sort of cafe I'd return too, great food, coffee, nice atmosphere, few interesting bits to see, pretty well perfect.
Another vote for BaffleHaus, after the Bikeshed this is the best one I have visited, great place and some really friendly staff.

As someone said earlier - I concur a farm shop in a good location with really good quality food and coffee/tea is my preference. Don’t need other bikers to be there

So you actually don't want a biker cafe smile

I think they have their place. I like to look at bikes and have a chat with like minded people sometimes, but I'd rather be riding than standing around at a cafe generally.

Wherever you get a biker cafe, unless you price the idiots and MCs out, or offer only vegan friendly produce it'll be the usual leather waistcoats, 90s power rangers etc. I used to visit Squires quite a lot years ago but the police were always about and the queues were pretty big.

Places like Squires do serve the cheapest possible food, there must be a middle ground between there and The Motorist.

Totally off topic, but your username, does it refer to a field bike - usually a dodgy provence C50-C90 with all the plastic removed?

If it does, are you from the North East? It's what we used to call such bikes in the NE.

Always thought it was a local phrase.

Being North London based I'll let you into a little secret, not much of a secret really......Bar Italia in Soho.
Fond memories of there from back in the late 90's/early 00's, when I used to ride into town on a weekday eve on my BSA (and later my Monster) to meet up with some London bike mates.

I've just remembered, Hack Green bunker is a great location. Loads of parking, a fascinating museum and a cafe and some nice local roads, if you're up that way.

That place isn't a secret anymore. I went there late last year at night and it was rammed

that's a shame - it was always super cool when it was only ever the odd cool old boy and bike.

I prefer somewhere like this https://kotiautotalli.com or https://www.bafflehaus.com in a nice location as an interesting place to stop for a nice bit of food. Look at what's parked up outside, possibly by some merch, and then carry on with the ride.

Caffine and machine/bikeshed style location with good food.

Gone are the days where i want to eat a greasy bacon or sausage sandwich on the side of the road.

Won't go where there is a load of kids riding like idiots either.

Mid-40's. Just been paid. Mildly dull, but still thinks he's exciting.

Nice place, but there's just not enough parking, get a dozen bikes in and it's full. And god forbid if you try parking out front as they obviously don't have a great relationship with the people in the attached offices there? Because the office lot moan like hell at the bikers.

They're opening a new place soon, it's the Old Post location on the A48 Bonvilston if you weren't aware? Plenty of parking and quite a bit bigger than the current location. Hopefully it will be as good.

Cane back from my first bike night of the year at The Iron Bull on Thursday.

The whole place is now effectively taken over by bolshy tts in waistcoats saying "Fukarwe" or "Savages". Shame as it used to be a nice place.

So somewhere that doesn't allow glorified gang colours would be nice......
