Oh I was told by a turbo specialist the 4.0 litre is the best option as their is less work to be done and the CR on the 4.3 is higher power output would be more and stronger conrods would be needed and the 5.0 litre will require forged pistons ?They are even lower CR than the 4ltrs. Roughly mid 8:1 CR. Plus the added bonus of nicely worked and ringed heads.

Thanks that's a few grand over my buying budget I am sure you will get that as its a well sorted car . I am still on my quest in finding a mint std 400 pre cat ? Or one I can work on to sort to my liking ?18-20k
