Hi,

I'm looking to refurb my Estoril alloys. But before I start does anyone have any tips how to remove the TVR badge from the centre of the plastic wheel nut cover on the Estoril alloys without damaging the wheel nut cover.

thanks

Someone did a write up on this Ozstyle.
From memory the trick was to Drill a small hole from the back, just through the cover, then push the badge off through the hole.

Gentle application of a hair dryer,i'm guessing its a part of all Griff owners bathroom accessories for fluffing the chest hair ! once you've warmed the adhesive use a thin metal blade and gently ease it off.i should point out these are stuck with a one time glue and whilst they may reglue they won't be as strong as before.i'd consider some double sided tape or other glue to reattach, clean the old glue off with a solvent,no sniffing mind...

Guide is here (scroll down to 14th April 2011), afraid the photos are no longer present but you'll get the idea. I drilled through back but makes more sense to go through the front as you're throwing the logos away anyway.

All,
thanks for the replies. I have chest hair but proud to say I don't use a hair dryer.
Drilling in from the back sounds like a plan. I have some 57mm flexible gel style badges from ebay to fit.
