Drivers window stopped working
Discussion
The good news is that my Griff has passed it's MOT with no advisories - maybe I'll actually get out in it this year!?
The bad news is that:
A) I've buggered up my garage door, so I can't get the car out! (I've got someone looking into this soon, so no help here needed, just sympathy!)
and
B) The driver's window has stopped working. This happened whilst the guy taking it to MOT for me was using it. There doesn't seem to be any clunks or other signs of electrical attempts so it looks like a switch fault? Could there be a fuse just for the driver's window? (unlikely, but this is TVR...). If it's the switch, I don't suppose it just pops out without having to get to the back of the centre console? It's a 500, by the way. Any advice greatly welcomed as I wanted to drive the car to work but can't risk leaving it with the window down :-(
Cheers!

Result! After levering out the switches to check them (and damaging the veneer!) and finding that the switch was ok, I then resigned myself to having to take off the door panel, which for anyone that's ever done this they'll understand my pain. So, took out the speaker to start the process off and lo and behold, the window works again! I had a good poke around to see if I could 'unsettle' the connection but it seems fine. I even had the bonus of reattaching the speaker wire that David Gerald's had left off last year.
Typically, now that I've taxed the car for the first time this year, it looks like a crappy week of weather ahead. Typical.
