If anyone is heading there for a day out. I am in the blue mongrel griff in the handicap class over 3500cc in the morning. Might have a problem beating quite a few of the cars not least mark harris I in his very quick 4.2 cerb.

Thanks. 1/4 mile in a straight line isn't really my thing but it should be a fun day out. We got invited and figured it would be rude not to go.

Ahh yes of course I forgot it was 1/4 mile. If it was sprinting then you would probably walk it with your track record. 1/4 you may struggle in that class. I am sure you will still be competitive especially if you can run with the R888s and get a burnout in before the run.

Pretty awesome event to be invited to, normally pulls in pretty big crowds. Make sure you take the GoPro!

Managed a 2.2 second 64ft time (that's the best I have ever done but I did a decent burnout first). and I think a 12.2 second run. Waiting for the results to confirm that though. (-:

A decent burnout? From where I was standing you approached the start line sideways in a cloud of smoke! I came down to the paddock to say hello and your car had disappeared.

Hi dave,

The sideways bit of the burnout certainly made it more interesting for me. Sorry I missed you - we had family stuff to do in the afternoon so had to vanish.
