where's L118 BFV ?
Discussion
Photo from the Growl 2006 - in order from nearest camera - J631NFV (press car, first BV, I could go on but I won't), L118BFV (press 500, sister of L110BFV), J524MHG (press car and sister to J631), 284JNN (oldest mk2 Griff in existence - registered 1989), A15TVR (originally J768CNW and 1991 motor show car and first customer car), and what we thought was the last registered but turns out we found a later one soon after.
and one of L118 on its own.

Is L110 BFV still running around, with Rover engine or the AJP which was re-fitted a few years ago if I remember right?
still running around with an AJP. Just having another one built at the moment so a swap is going to happen in a month or so.Edited by The AJP Griff on Tuesday 2nd June 21:21

Hi - was interested to see where L118BFV is today as it was actually my wedding car back in August 1994 - My wife phoned up the factory to see if we could hire a TVR and they sent a driver with L118BFV to pick me up and take me to the church (we lived in Lytham St.Annes so not far from the factory) - the car was amazing and have some photos knocking around somewhere that were taken on the day. A few weeks later we saw the car on “Lovejoy”. Have hankered after a V8 engined car ever since having owned a Triumph Stag for a few years I now have a XK Dynamic R convertible which is the nearest thing I have found to match the TVR experience in L118BFV. I must admit to being envious of the current owner where ever you are!
Well this was it when I sold it, it was part restored when I bought it and I had it painted, new interior / carpets, wheels tyres etc etc

Looks like this chaps request was ignored though someone might have PM’d him. It’s not often people look back for a car they knew some 29-30 years earlier and even rarer the car still exist.
That’s the TVR effect.
I hope they did find the car or owner.
