My griff has air-con which works very effectively - certainly as cold as I will ever want. The PAS doesn't make the steering light and without feel. In fact I didn't find it too far apart from the non-PAS.
They are so much fun that its easy to fall in love with the first one you see and drive, whatever the spec - try a few before you buy! Have fun.

To get back to your question, yes of course you can drive a Griff daily. Will be as reliable as any other car. Will need a bit more looking after: checking oil, tyre pressure more frequently than you would for a Eurobox, but that's about it. Take a deep breath and go for it!

I have a 340 hp Griffith 500 with a sports exhaust. Would a "regular" exhaust be quieter?

I leave for work every day at 6.30 am. Everyone for a five mile radius know this.

Use my Cerbera Speed Six everyday for 50 mile round trip. Has started first time everytime. In over a years use it's only let me down twice....

Note that the non-PAS Griffiths are fitted with a slower rack *and* narrower front tyres than the PAS ones. Also, PAS supposedly makes it easier to re-sell (not that I have an plans to sell my Griff). So don't listen to those who say PAS is for wimps.

According to Jamie at Hawthorns, every Griff that has rolled out of the factory for the past 18 months has had PAS.

Yes, Yes, Yes, use it every day.
PAS on the Griffs I drove were crap. It feels alot better without but can be a bit heavy when it comes to parking. Some people might find this a problem but I don't being a big strong boy. On the move on tight roads Griffs without PAS feel a lot better and not forgetting they are a slightly quicker without PAS.

So you have more sensitive steering and better feedback through the non-PAS rack, and the reduced tyre width reduces the oversteer problem as well. Sounds like a winner to me. On the other hand PAS makes it easier to park which must be the deciding factor then.

Cheers,
Peter Humphries (and a green V8S without PAS)
