bulldong said: Girls like independent, funny, intelligent, strong minded but sensitive men who don't need the help of other people to get in their pants. If you need women in your life as friends, then just have them around by proxy i.e. invite your friends who have girlfriends to come out with you with their girlfriends. You still get the same effect as Chrisw666 and council baby highlight, but without the emotional w kdom that you have to put up with when they are direct relationships. I'm with bulldong on this. Girl mates are not a good route to go, you either look queer or like a pimp. Both of those things repel woman. Hanging out with mates and their girlfriends is acceptable. They are friends by proxy rather than directly. This means you look confident around these women, but they are part of a mixed group so you don't look like the above. It also doesn't intimidate any potential targets as much, as there is that other female presence. Go out with some mates. The odd casual remark to a girl at the bar about waiting to get served or the crappy music can spark off a whole conversation. I've met a fair few girls while having a smoke outside, just randomly joking about needing a nicotine fix or how sociable smoking is. It's easy to strike up a conversation if you don't think with your dick. Also, it helps if you don't look like a mong. With all the best will in the world, ugly people will struggle to chat up girls...

I think you slightly misunderstand my point Mr Dong I don't need female friends, I just have plenty and that is one of many things that happens as an upside. I don't send them to chat to other women, they just do it anyway. I'll talk to anyone anyway if I feel like it. My female friends are all good friends who add a different (perhaps mental) perspective to life in general. I think life would be so much less interesting if they were only friends 'by proxy'.

When I was younger I was in much the same boat. Problem is women at that age are immature for the most. When they get a bit older I find they are a better bet. I'm 25 now and the last few women I have been with are 30+ and there seems like be night and day difference between women in there 30s and 20s.
Best tip I could say is confidence and chat them up have a bit of fun don't put them on a pedestal. This will get quoted wrong but treat them like a guy mate. If you find you start acting wierd with girls.

Famous Graham said: The irony is, of course, the moment you whinge about it, you're instantly unattractive Definitely this. I have a friend on Facebook who is always moaning about how nice he is and how it's so unfair that nice guys finish last and it is deeply unattractive. Comes across as very needy and women just don't like that.

I've had a number of weird and wonderful converstions with random girls on a night out. More to the point, half of them I never even considered bedding them as they just weren't my type. Still doesn't hurt striking up a harmless bit of conversation though and it's all good practice. ChunkyloverSV said: When I was younger I was in much the same boat. If you find you start acting wierd with girls. I've noticed this a lot more recently. I'm 25 as well and on a night out I seem to be getting hit on more and more by slightly older woman (30's). It's got to the point where my mates have now started calling me 'cougar bait' and it'll happen 3 or 4 times in one night. The GF thinks it's hilarious. There's a few tidy ones out there though and they can be quite forward in how they approach you. About 6 weeks ago I was out in town with the GF and a few mates. She went to the ladies and I was stood talking to a few mates at the bar. This 30 year old peroxide blonde girl came over and started chatting to me and telling me how 'fit' I was, she was laying it on pretty thick. She managed to ease her way into the group and started getting a bit touchy-feely, even though I was dropping massive hints and talking about my GF. The missus eventually comes back from the loo and introduces herself. The blonde girl then quickly mentions how much I was just talking about her and how we were just having a bit of banter. The GF knows me well enough to know I'm a good lad and after a few minutes goes off to find a mate. This girl then starts going on about how she helped dig me out of a hole, how good she is a giving blowjobs, how she'd have my tea on the table for me when I got home from work and all this s te. I turned my back for 5 seconds to talk to a mate and I start to feel a hand going down my trousers! I've never moved so fast in my life. I'm a big lad and can look after myself, but my first thought was to find the missus, as she was the only one who could protect me The GF now makes a habit of introducing herself if she see's me chatting to a girl over the age of 25. I'm getting old....

I think he's just bitter and angry that the only girls that ever talk nicely to him are in second life. Good female friends are part of a normal group of mates and add perspective, a view of tits and the occasional outsider that isn't out of bounds. Being seen with women only marks you as one of the gays to manly men, to women it says that you're not a rapey nut job and know how to talk to and treat women.

I am, if by beaver you mean 'slightly older beaver with a bad case of mange'... I'm convinced it's karma trying to balance out the youthfulness of my girlfriend, seeing as it only started when I began dating her.

What does that actually mean? It sounds like you're insinuating that you asked if she had anywhere you could put your helmet and she responded with "Why don't you throw up my clout?" before clambering onto your desk, legs akimbo, but that clearly didn't happen. Did she sort of half-smile awkwardly and point you to a cupboard where you could actually put your helmet? What bike btw, I ride a bike too and it's weird how much women seem to like the idea of them, if not the actuality. I think it helps if you're not a smelly biker but just a well-dressed, absurdly handsome man who also rides bikes, like I am.
