I just wanted to say well done to all those that have caught on to vaping as a result of this thread. There's been a few threads on PH in the past but none of them have taken off as well as this one. I've been recommending the benefits of e-cigs since switching to them myself over 2 months ago and I'm genuinely pleased to see so many willing to give them a go and seemingly finding them preferable to real cigs.

am I using to high a nicotine level? think its 28 mg im using The juice used in most e-cigs is PG (Propylene Glycol), PG is a humectant (Absorbs water) you can find, like I did that it can give you a sore throat. As it absorbs the water at the back of your throat making it sore. I switched base liquids in my juice to VG (vegetable glycerine) this stops the cause of having a sore throat. Only problem is, it is less widely available. I make my own juice with a VG base most of the time. 28mg is about average, I use 36mg.

I'm buying PG and VG versions of the same flavours, at 36mg, and then mixing them 50/50 to get a vape that has good volume and hit, but not too rough.

Rather happy about this, for me it was purely a cost and health thing. I love smoking and this seems to work. I think Ill still have the odd fag on a good run out on the bike just for old times sake to see if i prefer the sky cig. Got some strange looks today in marks and spencer as I walked around holding a chicken puffing away on my sky cig. The old woman behind me actually stood there with her mouth wide open but she might have been thinking what a retard he's still trying to flick ash off it. Pros love smoking in the house, in work at my desk (not on site sadly) and car now. the price the fact I dont stink of smoke nor do I have to brush my teeth wash my hands and spray myself with linx before I sit down with the o/h better for my health cons Not as good as a fag but very close I smoke loads of e-cigs compared to fags Thanks for the tip with the vapour going to try with that but I think I maybe over filled them as they seem good today. TO anyone who has bought the sky cig, please just buy the vapour and fill it yourself its rather easy much cheaper tastes better and the cartridges last much longer. TO all that have put their thoughts in thanks so much its been a great thread. Can we keep it going with deals for vapours, kit etc

I'd just like to say thanks for the Skycig code on this thread I bought one and its very good. Its not 100% the same but its a good 70% and does have a good "throat hit" so it does at least feel like your smoking. Not bad for £15.97 delivered or something like that.
Cheers

Right, don't laugh at me here, but my brother has bought a case from FleaBay for his stuff. A cosmetics case. I did have a WTF moment but when he sent me a picture I think I can see where he's going with it - have a look: What do you think? ETA: Oops, sorry for the huge pic!

Thanks Prof, I had a feeling you were going to say it was from somewhere like that, I'm sure I've seen that sort of cabinet before. Dixie, that looks like a good solution, maybe if it was called a photography case it would be more "appropriate"!

http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/vape-escape-vision-900...My kit came the other day and charged it up and filled both Clearomisers one with Gold and Silver and the other with Apple. Slight problem with one that was filled with Gold and Silver, I got a nasty burning flavour and smell. I knew something was wrong as these things are supposed to be odorless. I tried washing it out but the smell still remains. Maybe just a duff one. Anyway I think I made a mistake of going low resistance Clearomisers . I am getting a huge throat hit. It is similar to smoking a Hamlet cigar than a cigarette, I used to smoke B&H Silver. I have ordred some standard resistance Clearomisers in different colours so I can tell the juices apart from sight (not sure the juices are different colours) http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-rainbow-2.5...I also ordered another Apple and 4 different fruit flavoured juice on a 50/50 mix, hopefully that combination should do the trick. So not a great start and had a couple of cigs last night, but once I get the resistance and juice sorted it should be better.

You shouldn't get burnt taste from low restistance stuff - burnt tastes are a sign of lack of juice...

I had literally just filled it. Both were filled to the same level 1.2 - 1.4ml not quite the max 1.6 on the guage. Certainly no lack of fluid in it.
