I think I read it somewhere that a LS3/LS7 spec flywheel is needed to put this clutch on? Is this true?

Furthermore, there are 2 types of gearrings (168 teeth eand another one). Which one is the most used?

The ls7 clutch uses its own flywheel , it has raised posts to mount the cover plate on , what cover are you using ?

Ls3 and ls7 are not the same ,

I am still looking what parts would be right if I decide to purchase a T56 box.

There are clutch and flywheelpackages on the market and I think the ls7 clutch is a very strong one and not very expensive....
