Thanks to everyone who came to the Griff Growl 2013, we’ve raised £1,610 for our annual charity – Cancer Research UK. We are eternally grateful to all of our traders for donating items to the auction, we certainly couldn’t do it without their help and we hope that you owners will support them in turn by purchasing their wares when you need items for your precious cars!

Lots of items were auctioned off over the weekend but poor light stopped play for the auction on the Saturday night at the BBQ and we still have some fantastic items left to be auctioned off.

We’re opening them up for sale here on PH to anyone and everyone – you don’t have to own a Griff or even a TVR – all we’re interested in is getting as much money for our charity – so please don’t be shy! Granted most items are TVR/Griffith specific... but then this is the TVR Griff Growl Charity Auction!

Below is a list of items that are still available:

1. Griffith see-through rear window sticker in blue as per the picture, donated by Ian Barrett. This sticker has already been made and is therefore ready for immediate dispatch. The sticker comes with a clear film that you put onto the rear screen before applying the actual sticker.

2. Griffith see-through rear window sticker in a colour of your choice, donated by Ian Barrett. See picture. Ian has donated two additional stickers so the two highest bidders will each get a sticker in the colour of their choice (be sensible on colour choice – and no, chameleon or flipflop is not an option!). These stickers will be made once we know your colour choice and therefore will be sent direct from Ian. Again, these stickers come with a clear film to be applied to your rear screen before the actual Griffith sticker.

3. Very shiny TVR oil filler cap donated by Point CNC. As well as the TVR logo, the cap also has the outline of a Griff etched into it.

4. Pair of footwell carpets for a TVR (delivered to any UK address) donated by D&C Trim

5. Induction hose kit for any TVR donated by ACT. This kit includes hosed from plenum to AFM and AFM to filter, heat sleeve and stainless clips.

6. 1 hr workshop time (worth £50) plus 10% off any parts and labour thereafter donated by Kits and Classics in Chesterfield.

7. Heater controls for a TVR Griffith 500 donated by PPC (Leven)

Please email me (andrea.bennett@bamnuttall,co.uk) with your maximum bid by 31 August 2013 at the latest. Bids received after this deadline will be too late and you’ll miss out…!

Please be sure to put Griff Growl 2013 – (Auction Item Name) in the subject line of your email so I can pick it up easily.

I will email back an acknowledgement to everyone who bids – if you don’t get a confirmation email, then please call me on 07768 065536.

Below is a list of all our fantastic traders who very kindly donated items for the Griff Growl Charity Auction 2013 – please support them when you need something for your car:

Yes, sorry guys, lots going on and never seem to get to this despite planning to do it each night last week!

Thanks to those that put bids in for the remaining Growl auction items. I will send emails to everyone tomorrow and then update the Grand Total to you all in due course.

Thanks again,
Andrea x

FFG & Mrs FFG have finalised the charity monies, they have covered my costs for the Charity `T` shirts for which I am grateful. There are still some left so let FFG or Mrs FFG or me know if you want one as everyone sold now is all for charity, we may bring some to Silverstone Classic. Bob did you order one?

- "£1,250 donated Mr & Mrs FFG topped it up so £1562 with the gift aid."

Great stuff from all concerned clap
