Does anyone know what's happened to Yorks Tanks http://www.yorksyanks.co.uk/ as it looks to be non-functioning :-(

Is the Leeds Cruise, 2nd Sunday of the Month, 7:30 at Burger King still active and on tomorrow ?

What other alternative American Car Groups are there in or near Leeds please.

Thanks :-)

2nd saturday of the month I think you mean. I will be there about 6pm tomorrow, 7.30 is a bit late, so get there earlier if you can.

Not sure whats happening on the yorksyanks forum, it may pick up now summers approaching, but most of the original members don't seem to post anymore, although there is a 'VIP' section so maybe they all hide away from the outside world in there?

27th April, there is a car show for classics and american at Silcoates school Wakefield. Last year there was nearly 200 cars there. Hopefully I'll be there to defend my 'headmasters choice' trophy!

Hi James, I made a (late) decision not to go today - one minute the weather is ok, but then torrential rain. If you are going, have a good night, but make sure you register your number plate with BK staff, as sneaky parking tickets are being issued via the CCTV.

I'm hoping to go to the new Doncaster meet next week instead

P.S. unless they have a Royal Warrant from The Crown their parking tickets are valueless.

Details of Doncaster meet, Frankie & Benny's are offering discount as well

" A new cruise night is underway for 2014 starting on the 3rd Saturday of every month, 1st one being in April. Open to anyone from anywhere, but mostly obviously for those in and around the Doncaster area. The place will be the very large parking lot outside 'Frankie & Benny's', next door to the 'Doncaster Bowl', the address/postcode is the Leisure Park, Bawtry Road, Doncaster, DN4 5NW. Starting to turn up around 5-6pm ish and goes onto whenever."

There was good turnout at the Silcoates school show on 27th April, and excellent weather to match. ( video complete with yeeeehaaaah music!!)
