Vehicle Import from Monaco

What documentation is required to import a car to UK that has been purchased in Monaco. Any particular certificates required ? The car would be a Used one and as such, VAT has already been paid . As the car would not be being registered in Monaco, what is required from the dealer regarding my proof of ownership and Vehicle Registration details ?
All you need is the registration document and dealer invoice.
Procedures have change for importing a vehicle though and you must notify HMRC within 14 days of arrival.

How will you get it it to and then into UK though, if you are a UK resident you cannot legally drive it on UK soil.

Is regarding VAT ?
You'll have to register on the HMRC site to access the form, there is quite a bit of info required I'm told.
