My first TVR is in the garage tonight. Spent a few months looking but am delighted with my new toy.

My parents wandering what on earth I have bought now!

Happy days!

Nice one! A bit different to the one you were originally looking at!

Details? The front plate mount looks unusual, and is that a T suffix?

Well done old chap! Is that Rosso Pearl red? The paint looks very similar to mine.

The feeling of getting into it for the first time and driving it home is second to none.

Enjoy it. Was on ebay I think - and has had a fair bit of work done IIRC - engine rebuild rings a bell?

It was the one on ebay. Had written it off as it was on an no reserve auction, poor advert and pictures. Spoke to the owner and the garage that had done all the work and couldn't beleive how much had been done in the last 12 months. The owner under sold it in the advert so went to see it and snapped the owners hand off straight away before the auction ended.
Very happy! Just requires a bit of tidying on the interior and its good to go next spring.

"It's a bit noisy" was their comment!

Looks lovely - good colour scheme. Had some money spent on it and then some - I've just found the ad.
I recommend ear defenders for the parents smile

Thanks to all for making me feel so welcome. Shame I have to wait for the summer to come round to enjoy it fully. I have taxed it all year so may find the odd bright cold afternoon for a drive out. Lots of little improvements for me to do over the winter. Better than watching "Eastenders"!

Cold crisp DRY winter morning's are great for being out in a tvr, had some great boxing day drives in mine,as long as there has been no salt deposited.

I don't think there is much to beat a cold bright winter morning drive with the roof down.

Wish it was me out for a drive in North Wales but sadly no, I was working. But sounds a nice idea for the spring!
