Anyone know what happened here? Looks like severe trailer failure.

Blimey, i was expecting to see a trailer on its knees, probably due to a driver not checking properly when they were hooking up. Certainly not seen that before.

That's some major structural failure there.

I bet the driver st himself thinking he hadn't engaged the pin then breathed one huge sigh of relief to see what actually happened.

also relieved that DVSA aren;t going to be feeling his orifices vs feeling the orifices of the MoT tester and TM

There was a wagon and drag type trailer on its side yesterday morning on the M25 anti clock near the M40 Junction.

Not sure how that flipped without taking the wagon over with it.

This is actually more common than you think, the chassis strength doesn't extend to the swan neck and double deckers are renowned for rotten the wooden innners of the trailer from knocking the high corners and letting water in.
