Driving like a moron
Discussion
White Golf R DS15 DLC
Overtook me about 9:45 southbound on m1 between 39 and 38, well over 110mph driving like an absolute lunatic, then came off at 38, over the roundabout and sat in hard shoulder of slip road.
Came flying past again seemingly with a red astra in tow between 38 and 37, undertook me using the hard shoulder again seemingly over 100mph before flying off into the distance.
Keep you eyes peeled guys, soon to be found wrapped around a tree!

I did try to report to 101 but after 3 minutes i gave in and when i got home checked to see if there was any other way of reporting it either via an online for something but no joy there either, at least not for south yorkshire police who appear to be behind the times!
Edit: just checked the reg and must have remember it wrong as dvla seem not to locate it! Strange as i found it rather idonic the last 3 could be an acronym for driving like a

I've seen more MK7 R's on the road than I've seen MK6 R's and MK4 and 5 R32s combined. Funnily enough a fair few of them were being driven in a tttish manner including a chap in a red one who was seemingly doing laps of Leeds city centre on Tuesday evening. Chap who lives on my mates street has a solid metal post protecting his MK7 R at the exit of his driveway, another chap whose MK7 R I see on the way to work seems to be parking it away from his house. Given the amount of stories I've read about them being stolen I'm not surprised.

Not sure if its the same one owing to the sheer amount of them ive also seen but i have clocked a red R a couple of times being driven like a bit of a tt. Not seen the driver but it was the usual accelerating quickly straight up to within a cats whiskers of the back of other peoples cars then dropping back only to repeat a few times before overtaking aggresively in places that arent really opertuneso what we're saying really is a large proportion of immature / inexperienced drivers who normally would spend £300 a month on a shopping car have taken advantage of stupidly low lease rates for these and are driving them like they did their trolleys?!?
I'm sure we'll see similar happening shortly with 208's given the low rate leases available on the 208 gti now!
I suppose we're lucky that VW have seen fit to supply the Golf R with an engine that implodes within 1500 miles!

Footage has even shown up on an ITV article - http://www.itv.com/news/calendar/update/2015-06-30...
I frequent Barkerend Fisheries regularly and have seen idiots driving st seriously stupid speeds on that road plenty of times. Shame about the Merc, always looked good whenever I've driven past.

Has karma gone full circle? red golf r crashed into a wall and the driver legged it but came limping back to retrieve a "package" from under the drivers seat, all over the news I'd do a link but I'm not at advanced stage yetOvertook me about 9:45 southbound on m1 between 39 and 38, well over 110mph driving like an absolute lunatic, then came off at 38, over the roundabout and sat in hard shoulder of slip road.
