Guys easy question which I am struggling with, how far is Harewood house as the main tourist bit from Harewood Hillclimb? Looking at going Sat but outlaws won't want the Hillclimb.

The weather forecast would help me decide.

If you're planning to go to spectate this weekend the Sunday is prob best as it's a round of the BHC therefore features the top cars and drivers from around the country inc the big single seaters which are ballistic! Saturday still good though.

Thanks Guys, mine has to be the Sat as I'm in Leeds for a funeral on the Friday with the outlaws so this is my extension to the whole thing!

Thanks for this. I'm going to take my daughter to her first one, I had forgotten there was one this weekend!

Anyone here competing?

Yes I'm entered on Saturday in the Jedi again. Looking forward to it and the entry list looks good ( see here - http://www.harewoodhill.com/events/ ) + hope the storms don't materialise.

Will prob go on Sunday to watch the BHC round. A link to Loton Park vid from a round a few weeks back to wet the appetite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYvihwYi4BE

Cool, I'll stop by and say hello. I have a 2 year old daughter who is fascinated by all things cars (no idea where she gets it from) so a hillclimb is a good place to start smile

I'm there too on the Saturday - competing for the very first time as a complete novice, never even driven the track before smile
No.99, black Porsche 944 rally car. Feel free to come and say hello. Talkwrench is with me too making sure the car works when I do something silly. Your daughter is very welcome to play brum brum in the car too, mine always do!

No probs and great that she's keen and feel free to sit her in the car for photos etc.

Thanks, though you might not get it back... She's pretty light though so some good advantage in power/weight, although I have told her that being able to go brum brum, honk the horn and turn the wheel does not fully qualify her yet. Though it does give her marginally more situational awareness than say, Pastor Maldonado...

Saturday will be the best day wink 3 944s will be competing, The walk from Harewood House to the Hill
is only short, but there is a lack of pavement along the Avenue so do take care.

I'll be doing the usual TVR count in the car park.

Can't bring mine as here's too many offspring to fit in.

Or some will have to go in the boot.

What are you all doing for your picnic? I'm really struggling to find a decent sorbet for between the fois gras and ortolan courses.

Also just found out I have 2 warped front discs. Replacements arriving tomorrow, fitted Friday, bedded in on way to the event!
