Something for £500-£1000 that's interesting?

I need a new shed soon for winter and maybe some horse dutys, going to be doing about 40 miles a week in it.

At the moment I'm thinking Subaru forester or Honda CRV?

If it cant do light 4x4 stuff I will use the X6 for that so its not the end of the world.

So

Wants:

£500-£1000.

Interesting.

Able to do 40 miles a week.

Don't cair about:

Road tax

Fuel

Insurance

Gearbox, happy with auto or Spanish.


Dont want:

Range Rover P38. Had lots and loved them, but been there done that.

MX5 also been there done that.

Freelander, there is a broken one behind my workshop at the moment waiting to go for scrap.

Too much work, something that runs already would be nice. I don't mind work to keep it going

I chanced upon an Ebay advert for a Jaguar S Type V6 manual. Metallic dark green, leather, MOT, £350.

If you're prepared to weigh it in when it sts itself, you can buy any number of interesting old stters for absolute peanuts. Fit winter boots and a tow bar!
