Picture taken in Austria on a camping holiday in late 1960’s; it’s me in black shirt and my younger brother in foreground.

Perhaps your Grandad’s tyre fitter wasn’t so stupid, think about the opposite direction tyre fit, the old tractor will have had a fixed axle no doubt? He could have the advantage of going forward or in reverse and still had the ability to drive out of heavy mud? Pat H said: You were correct. It is one's.I think I've posted this before. My first driving lesson, with Grandad, Summer of 1970. Not convinced that I would recommend his tyre fitter.

I think the photo is reversed. (Unless they are driving on the wrong side of the road and the buttonhole is on the wrong side.)
Think it's a vintage Rolls Royce, not sure which one though.

Spotted in Whitley Bay It was returning from last weekend's Flying Scotsman's Rally having retired on the final day. I normally hate white wall tyres on a Rolls Royce (1924 Silver Ghost) but on this car and travelled stained I think they look rather good..not too gaudy and they suit the colour scheme. There are full details and hundreds of pictures on the Event website..http://www.endurorally.com/fscot2012/index.html

Yours truly probably about 22yrs ago and my interesting rusty Italian motor OAK 288X. At least some things haven't changed, still driving around in interesting rusty Italian motors..... Isn't it weird how we can remember number plates from our childhood or Yoof, I don't know many of them from the last 10yrs!
