Please post your nominations for some tasteless tat which some folk have the cheek to put on sale here and in other sites. I'll begin with.. Exhibit A: This car started out as a 318i saloon - I know, hard to believe isn't it. This dedicated owner has garnished this vehicle with - and I quote - a "full" BMW 3.2 straight-six. Thirty-thousand pounds has been spent. This car has the popular but very 1990s "Lexus" lights and the bodykit is shall we say an acquired taste. The observant among you would have noticed the rather individual but altogether tasteless "3 series" detailing on the insides of the doors. Like we didn't know what it was already. The interior has to be seen to be believed. Yuo may think that having 30k spent and the 3.2 six garnished within that it may cost you an arm and a leg. But you'd be wrong. http://cdn.images.pistonheads.com/aimg/1356/135643...Available for just £7000 Do we have any other nominations?

Doesn't look particularly bad to me. I've certainly seen far worse.

Precisely why the E36 has in some cases a "chavvy" image and why some things are best left alone

But would you wish to be seen driving it?....Methinks Not I've never been particularly bothered by image, so if it was cheap for what it was, yes. Wouldn' take much to make it look fairly standard again anyway. It looks better than anything BMW currently produce anyway.

The car has had 30k spent on it and you think you can revert it to tasteful from tasteless without significant expense?

I remember that 306 estate from my "max power" days, I actually used to like it and even today it doesn't look that bad, at least it still resembles a 306.

Can't say it particularly bothers me. I don't spend much time staring at my door cards.

I remember there was a Civic or Accord Aerodeck around the same time that was a much better version of this. Don't forget those headrest covers - the scrappy will probably throw a pair of those in for free if you buy their doorcoards, though...

However much you spent on it it will always be lacking in taste, it is what it is, a pile of crap yesterdays chavwagon.
