Not a popular bunch of bunnies us lot. Just had lunch with a biker mate of mine who was there with some mates when you lot met for the Seven Stars run.
Apparantly the staff inside were cursing those "TVRCC drivers", "They always turn up, never buy a thing, not even a coffee".

Apparantly think we are all a tight fisted bunch of gits!

I was the second person to turn up and walked in to meet Thub with my own thermos mug of coffee. The manager nearly had a heart attack trying to tell me I wasnt allowed to drink it in there!.

There is a very large layby paarking area on the left just after the traffic lights (when heading North). There is sometimes a burger van there too. Perhaps we should meet there in future. Might be abit more room too and its still only about 10 yrds from the traffic lights.

Judging by the reception we got when trying to buy a coffee I'm not surprised nobody buys anything!

Constructive critisism then guys, my mate has said he will take back and feedback and see what the manager says.
Could be a chance to build bridges here?

In a strict but camp voice whilst pointing at the purple Cerb (Craigs?)

"and who owns THIS one?
Would they move it, its in the way"

followed by sulky stomp off and slam of front door!

Excellent, Bus Drivers in Bishop's Waltham and now Coffee shop managers. Who can we annoy next?

I feel a note from Springbox on the way!

He was perfectly nice to me when I ordered my cup of primordial hot chocolate.

Mind you my cunning disguise of "Dad with Toddler" probably disassociated me from the PH miscreants!

It's amazing what an apparentley single dad and child can get away with And to top it you gets loads of girls flirting with you too

Well my clan watered there so I have no pangs of guilt - and at 10am on a Sunday morning I doubt they're exactly rushed off their feet!

have to say he was not a happy bunny, marktvrloud tried to to get us a tea and he said the bloke was not impressed with us at all. Thought he was going to have heart failure when I went to use the toilet.
Perhaps if he wants to mend bridges he should smile and be courteous once in a while.

i agree entirely. Thought the bloke was a complete t*sser. Ok, so its fairly infrequent that I do buy tea/coffee/food in there but I shall certainly not bother in future. Agree with dicky, hardly a way to mend bridges. Hows about we find another meeting point instead chaps.

Problem is with a two-seater you don't have a spare seat when they have been "useful"!

Sure he spat in my tea...well at least I could swap mine with Dicky's
Think he was taking lessons from Victor Meldrew
Ah well, lay-by up the road sounds like a good plan for next time, leave the happy-chappy to the friendly bikers!!
