Driving to work each morning I see a line of neatly airbrushed trucks waiting for ferries. Great artistic skill no doubt and I wish I could draw more than anything with angles but I'm curious why truckers feel the need to do this?

Went past a 'Die Hard' liveried one this morning with "Welcome to the party pal" right across the front. Horses for courses obviously but very curious to see what history (if any) evolved into this.

Erm... Bit of a strange question.

Why does anyone customise any vehicle?

I've customised or modified every car I've ever owned and if I had a truck I would certainly do the same.
Agreed on the customising but I've never drawn a mural on any of my cars! Suppose trucks are a bigger canvas though!

Also I was under the opinion that these trucks were company property (as opposed to beongoing private property) and so didn't really understand why you'd pay to put a huge picture of John McLean (sp) on the side.

Not knocking it - just wondering what the history on it was.
