For those of you at the Growl this year you may remember some discussions around new bonnet stays. Now Steve Heath has shut up shop there does not appear to be anyone making a decent replacement bonnet stay.

Paul & Jill at Leven expressed an interest in creating a new product to fill the gap in the market as there were a number of us who needed replacements.

Jill has just sent me a sneek peak of the new product. Price is expected to be around £52 + VAT & P&P

Those that are interested keep an eye on the Leven site www.ppctvr.co.uk

Thanks not concours but i'll do my best to keep it tidy, btw your enginebay is much cleaner and very nice!
Cheer Mischa, although mine does not look that shiny anymore, an occasional wipe with a damp cloth is all I have managed over the last few years. I have a ACT plenum being delivered soon so mine will look very similar to yours.

Hi Matthew, you will not be disappointed with the ACT twin plenum kit, just take yr time to install (with all wires etc) if you do that yourself and after that your car FLIES even more, throttle response is awsome very significant in total!!
It looks great the carbon etc...
That is good to hear Mischa, I am getting my specialist to fit the kit along with a baffled sump as I am useless with a spanner. I am looking forward to getting the car back soon and testing it out on the track. From others I have spoken to the throttle response is great and allows you to get on the power much quicker out of corners. I'll chuck a thread up in the Griff forum with my thoughts when i have had a chance to test it out fully. I agree it does look fantastic and I have these nice crinkle finish rockers to match the carbon fibre:

Wow that looks great a bit retro with that finish! Nice flame trap where does it come from?
You are teasing me with these fantastic pictures when mine is away at the garage and I cannot drive it. Hopefully she will be back next week with a shiny new plenum.

The flame trap is from a gentleman called Clive Letherby, a fellow Griffith nutter and very nice chap and runs a company called Point CNC. I know it is only a flame trap but it is work of art, I am really pleased with it.

I am not aware of any replacement bonnet stays on the market currently. Happy to stand corrected....
