I have just been to see my mates Griff 500. The wiring burnt out for a second time some years ago and he threw a cover over it and its been sat since. Having just completed renovating his house he asked me to come take a look at the car and see what could be done.

A full body off refurb to as good as new is the plan. I think we can bring this one back.

A proper polish might save the paint

The interior just needs a scrub up

This can be cleaned up. Should be fine.

The chassis will be completely stripped and new outriggers fitted.

My mate has no intention of selling it. We want to do it proud and bring it back to its former glory.

I only know Chimaera values. I would think this being a Griff 500 will still be worth a considerable sum in this state.
After 12 months work it should be up there with the best of them.

It's a good colour scheme, and it's got pas - I reckon 17 to 20 when done. As it stands, maybe 10, 12? No accident damage is a big plus.
PAS?
A northerner owns this car, not a girl.

10-12k for that would be a steal in my opinion (yes I also know it's not for sale), based on the photos it looks more like lots of hard graft rather than lots of hard cash.....

It'll probably end up with Nitrous though...... smile
A nice thought but we wont be adding nitrous. This is going to stay completely standard.
