A MG Sherpa...no doubt the idea was considered at some point.
The mind boggles!

Just saw this on BBC and thought clip 41 sec to 57 should be posted here. Apologies if wrong thread.
The whole one and a half minutes is a good watch too.

Interesting to see a predominately British made car park, can't see any Japanese cars there, and only 4 German, with the 2 Beetles, a Type 2 camper and a single Merc. A few Italian's plus a fair number of French, with Citroen, Peugeot and Renault's....plus the two Swedes with a Volvo and a Saab. How times have changed in half a century.Couple of interesting Fords, with a rare Mk.3 Cortina GT seen, plus an AVO Escort, likely a custom pack Mexico, but could be a RS2000 with vinyl roof option.
Far left of row 4 is an Alfetta Berlina, then on the 7th row there's a canvas roofed job which looks like a Citroen Mehari. Right of that row, a few cars from the end, looks like a BMW Neue Klasse E3 saloon.
There's another white Merc W114/5 right hand end of row 6 but yes, no Japanese in the main car park.

There is a Lada though. Or though it might actually be a Fiat estate.
Found a Datsun in the far car park I think...
Lada only were first sold in UK from May '74, so higher chance its a Fiat.Found a Datsun in the far car park I think...

That's a Daf, not a Datsun.
I've also just spotted the Skoda as well over by the far fence.
