Anyone getting sick of ‘memes’?

I enjoy memes but that one grinds my gears. It doesn't make sense.

It would make more sense, imo, if it was "Everyone else:"

And I said as much when our comms dept used a graphic of non-meshing gears

IIRC it came to prominence on the "My iPhone sound does not work" and the guy had it on mute.
