Dealers were allocated cars that had already been spec’d by Ford. Various specs though, so you might have found what you wanted.
Indeed - and if I had wanted Auto , no Recaro seats and a different colour to what I wanted I would have been good to go !

My spec would have been available, however I decided the car was too expensive for me, plus I really like my green Mach 1 smile

Well that clears up the reason my 2022 mach i turned up without the recaro seats, the dealers are supplied with factory spec orders to match the supply chain production my dealer just never answered the probelm at the delivery time..

It’s certainly been a bit of an eye opener in trying to order.
I’ve been lucky enough to factory order and hence spec various cars from the likes of Porsche , Audi and Aston and even my last new Ford of whatever year it was ( Focus ST Mountune ) seemed a much easier and more predictable outcome !
