It must count as one of the worst websites.
Every page I'm asked to accept cookies, I've just ordered my Grandson some bonds, from login on I had to answer 10 times re the cookies.
Its true the site is very dated and clumsy at best..... however, as often , its not the site but probably your computer that's the problem. Some configuration in your browser . Mine ( PC , Chrome or Firefox ) not asking at all

I've just opened an account and deposited 2.5k.
So it will be my first draw in a couple of days time; I'm expecting big things!
Oooh, did you deposit it during May?So it will be my first draw in a couple of days time; I'm expecting big things!
Your funds have to be in a FULL CALENDER MONTH before they enter the draw.
So putting them in on the 2nd June means they won’t take part until the AUGUST draw.
Getting them in before the end of May means they will take part in the July draw.
Good luck!

I don't think so. IIRC you first draw will be JulySo it will be my first draw in a couple of days time; I'm expecting big things!
I opened it just after the May draw (1.5k), and then added 1k on the 31/05.
So I think they will all be in June's draw?

Either way, how disappointing.

I've also just looked it up. It seems that is correct. Oddly, I found that info on quite a few sites, but not on the NS&I website (it might be there, I just can't find it).
Either way, how disappointing.
It’s to stop people putting money in for the draw and taking it back out just after. Either way, how disappointing.

That is weird.Either way, how disappointing.
When I google “when do NS&I bonds enter the draw”m I see this in the results:
So you see them starting to explain that….
But when I click it, I can’t find it anywhere. Weird.
What a bag of nails!
May you win double next month to make up!!

It's to give you an early taste of how we all feel after each draw Expert bond holders, I have a very important question for you!
I have increased my holding to maximum through the last week of last month, by buying 4 x £10k tranches and then the oddments to make up to £50k.
My mate Fat Derek claims that I would win more by ditching my previous holding and buying a single bunch at £50k, I 'think' Fat Derek is talking bks, who's right, please?

However, it has not always been bks. Previous versions of Ernie produced more evenly distributed numbers that randomly distributed ones. And since they were "even" and opposed to "random", you did have more change of winning with one large block of numbers as opposed to several smaller blocks.
So that used to be the case, but not anymore.
