A quite respectable 34 countries including UK considering it's only ever been holiday travel and quite a few places have been to several times.

UK (England, Scotland, Wales & several islands)
Republic of Ireland
France (Many times)
Netherlands
Belgium
Denmark
Sweden
Norway
Italy
Switzerland
Austria
Spain (Inc most of the Canaries and Balearics)
Portugal
Andorra
Monaco
Croatia
Greece (Mainland and quite a few of the islands)
Cyprus
Egypt
Morocco
Cape Verde Islands (Sal)
South Africa
USA (Quite a few mainland places + Maui)
Barbados
Antigua & Barbuda
British Virgin Islands
St Kitts
St Vincent & the Grenadines
Tobago
Jamaica
Tunisia
Grenada
Dubai
Maldives

My wife and I got back from a trip to Majorca last week, my first foreign holiday and my last trip to Majorca was in 1966, my mate and I watched England beat Germany in the World Cup Final in a little bar in Cala Mesquida, 6 of us English lads and about twenty Germans, much beer was consumed.

Sailing in Turkey is a possible addition to my country list for this year and I have a big birthday coming up next March which may entail a very long distance trip.

Added a few more in the intervening years since since my last post on this thread.

followed the rule that minimum requirements for entry was a beer and a turf out, but TBH have spent at least one night in most of these, think only Qatar, Bahrain and Tunisia were transits

just realised missed out South Korea too.

Some well travelled people here.

I keep remembering new places to add. We tend to just holiday in Spain, I did a lot of travelling with work in my 20’s and 30’s, try not to do so much these days. Didn’t often see too much of the countries I visited for work sadly.

Lived:
UK
Eire

Work visits:
NL
Norway
Germany
Greece
Italy
Switzerland
Libya
Nigeria
Egypt
Gabon
Mozambique
South Africa
USA (Texas, New Mexico)
Canada
Russia
Japan
Malaysia
Brunei
China
India
UAE
Qatar
Jordan
Oman
Iraq
Syria
Kazakhstan
Azerbaijan

Holiday:
France
Spain
Mauritius
Greece
Cyprus (both sides)

I’d love to visit some more places in the Middle East. Had opportunity to visit Pakistan, Lebanon, Israel and Iran but fell through for whatever reasons.

Never been to Australia or NZ, never been to South America. I’d like to.

Amateur with 25 countries…but off to India later in the summer, and bike trip to Czech in a few weeks so that will add another two.

No points for multiple trips though. I guess I must have done the US maybe 80+ times over the years.
As I guessed from other postings, I'm an amateur at this...but I'll do US stated visited...excluding states just driven through or changed planes:
Arizona
California
Colorado
Florida
Georgia
Hawaii
Maine
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
Oregon
Utah
Washington
District of Columbia

...and if I add states driven through or just set foot in an airport I can add
Connecticut
Maryland
Minnesota
New Hampshire
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
Texas
Vermont

So most of the coastal states, but really none of the fly-over states. And most have had many trips - I must have been to California 30 times anyway, maybe 15 times to Florida including the keys and probably half a dozen times to Colorado, Nevada, New York. Maybe if I didn't keep going back to the US I could add some more countries to the list instead.

Nearly 30 years of frequent travel in the oil & gas industry has meant I’ve managed to rack up a fair few air miles (I count 48 countries so far) and currently at AF/KLM Gold card status. Hoping to add Namibia and Ghana to the African list later this year too.

Europe
France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Norway, Denmark, Romania, Netherlands, Greece, Czechia, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Poland, Luxembourg

CIS
Kazakhstan, Ukrain, Azerbaijan

Americas
USA, Canada, Alaska, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Chile

Africa
Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Senegal, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, Angola

Asiapac
Australia, Brunei, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, PNG, Singapore,

Got to say even after all these years I still love travelling.

Just checked my "Been" app.
Says 37 countries for me, but oddly notes 195 UN countries in total, where others' screenshots posted previously show UN countries as 193

Alaska is a State of the U.S.A., not a country.
Thanks for spelling Colombia correctly. biggrin

I have Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China and Macau booked, which will bring it to 89 or 77 UN countries.

I'd love to visit Russia as it has a great history and also happens to be the biggest country in the world so would look great in the map but that will be some time.
