Perhaps, being (no doubt) a little older than you and in the interest of seeing you happy, Mickeyfish, why not go out.

As in out out. For real.

To a pub, the park. Hell, shopping event.

Meet some real people.

Go to a mate's bbq - host your own! Or dinner at yours and every friend brings a friend.

All these apps, so often so few real people.

I have a few times but rebuffed. Told her I like her etc so clear I fancy her. Still chatting. Will give it a few months only way tbh. Is she catfishing me , she is 99% real person. Habe a look online a lot of people chatting on tiktok as you have people with common interests and you can find out all about them as well .
months???!!!!

you need to be playing the numbers game and not dedicate time to becoming a friend or emotional support dog to someone who appears to be just in it for likes and attention.

real women looking for real dates are out there and you need to focus on that and let this one go.

I've been dipping in and out of this thread since the beginning. I'm currently in the middle of a somewhat messy divorce and decided to try a dating site. (well, nearly all of them to be honest) and actually found a couple of really great people.

I'm currently dating the one I met in December a few days into Bumble. It was boredom on her part and just signed up. We met within a few days of being on the site and then in person a few days later. It helps that she has weird custody arrangements with her ex-partner in that he has them for a week and then her. So she is effectively 'single' every other week. When she has the two children (14 and 8), I go for dinner with them or we take the dog for a walk.

So I guess it's possible.

When were you last single / out on the pull?

I was on Hinge and also go out 3 times a week
Chatting up someone in a bar (I doubt people want ot be hit on in the park or shopping events!!) is massively hit and miss, and thats assuming you have the balls/chat to approach some random.

My experience:

Girls in bar:
90% I won't fancy
Of the remainiing 10%
8% won't be single
1% want to be chatting to their mate and are not receptive to being chatted up

Hinge:
80% I won't fancy
Of the remaining 20%
0% won't be single
100% want to be chatted up

Hinge I can do from the comfort of my home, and doesn't cost hours of wasted time and £100s in wasted drinks bought to uninterested females

I've spoken to more people when walking my dog this year than I have anywhere else. Not seen many seemingly single women though.

Why not go one further and steal a kid, then you will have lots of people chasing you,
youll then end up in a place where 90% want to have sex with you... lol

Pretty certain I just saw Jo Guest on Match, those of a certain age will remember her work!

Not been well for many years I seem to recall.

Not right to post her profile pic, but a quick google will tell you time and health have not been fair on her, she is using another name but her quirky teeth of all things made be realise it was her. What a stunner she was back in the day.

Funnily enough I spotted Ulrika's profile on Hinge when I had a virtual tour of London before xmas, thought it was a scammer, another who has not aged well.

In other news, have a first date Fri night, been a good few months since I had such, close on 6ft blonde, 20 years my junior! (I am in my fifties so not that dodgy) the old dogs still got it, not holding me breath though but will give it my best shot.

Block her, re-enable all apps and get straight back out there.
